Trade Shows

To minimize trade show costs, we offer our establishment members the chance to consolidate and exhibit collectively under the Africa In Focus umbrella stand. We coordinate stands, send invitations to key trade members, offer a meeting scheduling option, provide staff assistance, and ensure a presence for our clients at trade shows.

Roadshow Events

Africa in Focus arranges exclusive 3-night networking events annually, connecting trade professionals, establishment owners, and marketing managers. Our roadshows reach full capacity with 70-100 A-list inbound operators and suppliers, providing opportunities for establishment owners to present to key trade members and establish direct relationships.

Share the News

We regularly communicate a client's profile to our extensive database of local and international partners through an introductory press release, quarterly trade newsletters featuring member product content and updates, and a strong social media presence on the Africa In Focus platform.

Reporting

We generate monthly reports that outline all client activities, such as organizations contacted, attended shows, conducted workshops, and delivered sales presentations. This detailed reporting enables both us and the owner to monitor progress and implement corrective actions as needed.

The listed services are excluded from the representation agreement and will be quoted separately

  1. Launches of products in South Africa involving;

    1. Creation of theme

    2. Sourcing of venues (suggest in each major centre)

    3. Sourcing of all extras required

    4. Invitations and monitoring thereof

    5. Follow-up workshops

    6. Media involvement

  2. Special promotions

  3. Brand-specific digital marketing design and or platform management, photographic and artistic requirements. These include website design, brand guide creation, promotional photographs and video production, brochure design and implementation.

  4. Design and build-up of trade show stands

  5. Visitor hosting – the client may request AIF marketing to meet and host a specific visitor to promote certain objectives.

  6. Joint promotions with regional and national tourism bodies in Southern Africa on the client’s behalf.

  7. Compulsory ad hoc services include participation at 3 Africa in Focus-specific product events per year.
